Cosmetology London is a city guide to how London's aesthetic treatment market actually works. It is written for people who live here, or who come here for treatment, and who want to understand the market before they walk into it.
What this guide does
We describe a market. We do not sell treatments, take bookings, run a directory of paid listings or accept payment for coverage. The guide is organised the way London itself is organised, by district, because the aesthetic market genuinely differs between postcodes in ways that affect price, appointment length, treatment range and standards of assessment. A patient who understands that difference makes better decisions than one who compares prices alone.
Alongside the district guides sit treatment guides, which explain what a category of treatment involves, what it costs across the city and what regulation does and does not cover. Both are written to be read by someone deciding whether to have treatment, not by someone who has already decided.
What this guide will not do
- We do not name clinics or practitioners as recommendations. We have no way to inspect a clinic, audit its outcomes or verify claims about individual practitioners, so we do not pretend otherwise. Instead we tell you which public registers to check and what to ask.
- We do not invent anything. No fictional clinics, no fictional practitioners, no addresses, no phone numbers, no invented studies and no invented statistics. Prices are given as indicative ranges observed across the London market and described as such.
- We do not give medical advice. Nothing here is a substitute for an in-person consultation with a qualified practitioner who examines you.

Cosmetology London is published by Northbank Media, an independent publisher of specialist consumer and trade titles. Editorial decisions are made by the editorial team. No advertiser, clinic or commercial partner has any right of approval over what appears here, and none is offered one.
How the guide is written
Every guide is built the same way. We establish what the treatment or district actually involves. We set out indicative price ranges as ranges, because a single figure would be a fiction in a market this varied. We describe the regulatory position accurately, including the places where regulation is thinner than patients assume. And we point to institution-level sources so that a reader can check the framework for themselves rather than taking our word for it.
Where a treatment category is new, we say that the evidence is early rather than describing it as proven. That is the position we take consistently across the site, and it is the main reason some of our treatment guides read less enthusiastically than clinic marketing does.
